Advent, at its core, is about getting ready to encounter Jesus at Christmas. Your journey to that encounter begins with recongnizing the mercy of God. This Advent, help us to remember that we aren't all perfect and that we need your mercy in our lives. This Advent, take some time to reflect on your personal relationship with God. Are you ready for Jesus' coming this Christmas?

Semi-Formal: A Winter Wonderland

The FJB semi-formal was a great success.  The banquet hall was transformed into a winter wonderland.  Those who attended enjoyed a night of dancing and dining.  When we're dressed up who can pass up an opportunity to take photographs with friends?🎩

Random Acts of Kindness Day

Friday, November 6 is Random Act of Kindness Day in Windsor - Essex County.  Individuals, businesses, and groups are encouraged to perform simple acts of kindness on this day.  Student Council showed Brennan's support of this day by "randomly" handing out  candy to students at lunch.  The act is simple and easy, and SAC hopes it will inspire the rest of the Brennan community to perform random acts of kindness as well.  #RAKRedNation

Semi Formal Tickets are now on sale!  They are $40 a person and can be bought in Student Services at lunch.  Be sure to have a signed contract with you when you buy your ticket.  Contracts can also be found in Student Services.

Movember

The month of November is prostate cancer awareness month. During this month, referred to as "Movember", men often grow facial hair, specifically moustaches to support this cause. Brennan students are encouraged to donate $1 and wear a moustache stickers on November 12th to show their support and awareness regarding prostate cancer. Any other donations will be gladly accepted as they are all going towards a great cause in prostate cancer research!

Halloween Fun

It was a spooky Halloween week at F.J. Brennan.  A time for cafeteria games, pumpkin carving, wacky costumes, and showing our caritas spirit through our food drive.  Not to mention the "Thriller" flash mob in the caf!  Have a safe and happy Halloween Cards!

Money Raised for the Canadian Breast Cancer Society

We raised $230 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Society!  Way to go Cards!  Thank you to all who donated to this worthy cause!
